Residential Public Infrastructure Grant

Purpose

To create a safe and sanitary living environment for Ohio citizens, by providing safe and reliable drinking water and proper sanitary waste disposal

Program

The program provides grants for infrastructure projects that provide water and/or sanitary sewer service to primarily residential users.

For Whom

Non-entitlement counties, small cities and/or villages are eligible for the program. Counties must apply on behalf of unincorporated areas and villages that do not operate a public water or wastewater system.

How Much

Eligible communities can apply for up to $600,000 per project, including $100,000 per project for on-site improvements. A community may apply for assistance for multiple projects during a program year.
