Urban Development | What We've Done

Division Quick Facts

A total of 2,940 construction jobs and 911 housing units were created from the first 35 completed Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit projects.

The Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit Program is expected to create an annual average of 6,976 full-time jobs from projects funded in the first four rounds of the program.

Every $1 million in Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credits generates $8 million in construction spending and $32 million in operating impacts, according to a study by Cleveland State University.

The Clean Ohio Brownfield Revitalization and Assistance Funds have awarded grants to 60 of Ohio's 88 counties.

The cleanup of more than 3,100 acres of contaminated land has been aided by the Clean Ohio Fund.
