On Tuesday, July 29, Governor Ted Strickland and Lt. Governor Lee Fisher honored 24 Ohio companies with the 2008 Governor’s Excellence in Exporting Awards at the Statehouse Atrium in Columbus.  Two companies received the distinguished Exporter of the Year awards:  The Lincoln Electric Company of Cleveland as the Large Business Exporter of the Year, and Select Sires Inc. of Plain City as the Small-Medium Business Exporter of the Year.
