Environmental Review Requirements for HUD-funded Programs

The Ohio Development Services Agency (ODSA) administers programs that include U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds which are subject to federal environmental review requirements. These requirements pertain specifically to ODSA's Office of Community Development (OCD) programs that distribute Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) funds.

HUD's environmental regulations, codified at 24 CFR Part 58, describe procedures for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and related federal laws and authorities. This page contains forms, information sheets and other technical assistance documents to help grantees successfully meet their federal environmental review obligations.
