EnVinta Energy Diagnostics One-2-Five/Energy Achiever A Business Approach to Energy Management

What is EnVinta One-2-Five? Energy Achiever?
One-2-Five® Energy is a software-based program for senior managers which takes a business approach to energy management and examines how energy is integrated with your business management systems. One-2-Five® Energy is not a technical tool.  Rather, it focuses on management systems, and is designed for use by managers. One-2-Five is geared toward those companies that spend $350,000/yr or more on energy. 

When your management team participates in a One-2-Five® Energy diagnostic session they will follow a structured process which examines how the business thinks about energy and identifies opportunities to improve business systems to achieve sustainable energy cost savings. 

Key features include:

  • A focus on management issues rather than technical issues
  • The opportunity to discuss issues within an organization and gain a consensus on future action
  • A critical review of current practices to help identify areas that require attention
  • The identification of the top 5 critical actions to be first addressed 

Once a diagnostic is completed the results are benchmarked and a final report is produced.  This report is presented at a session with the original participants to discuss the findings and determine how to address the priority actions. 

Energy Achiever was developed using the same techniques as One-2-Five Energy, but is targeted at those customers that spend less than $350,000/yr on energy.  Energy Achiever utilizes many of the same features, but the streamlined diagnostic session addresses the energy issues faced by the smaller energy consumer. 

 
How can EnVinta One-2-Five/Energy Achiever benefit Ohio?
In today's global economy, Ohio companies are competing with manufacturers from around the world.  EnVinta One-2-Five and Energy Achiever processes will help Ohio companies reduce costs through sustainable energy savings.  This bottom line effect will put our companies in a better position to compete worldwide.  In addition, OEE will bring other resources: financial tools and local technical assistance providers for developing the technical solutions identified by the diagnostic as part of the management plan. What type of results can be expected from participation in the EnVinta process? 
Results will vary with the commitment of the company's management and the current level of energy management in place.  A sampling of the potential results from the diagnostics completed worldwide by EnVinta show savings ranging from 6-8% to 30-40%.
