Honorees of the 2009 Governor's Excellence in Exporting Awards were announced on August 26, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Columbus. Governor Ted Strickland recognized 27 Ohio-based companies and organizations that have achieved international success with the prestigious E-Award. The ceremony featured the Exporters of the Year Award given to Ludlow Composites Corporation as the Small-Medium Business Exporter of the Year; and to The Gorman-Rupp Company as the Large Business exporter of the Year.
