Reporting Mandate

Ohio law requires the Ohio Department of Development make information available online (a Web site) about the tax incentives the Department approves for the purposes of economic development of the State of Ohio. This Web site reporting requirement appears in the Ohio Revised Code at Section 125.20 (A)(2) and it required the online reporting to be available April 15, 2010. This Web site is made available to the public to comply with this reporting requirement.

The Web site displays tax incentives approved beginning in State Calendar Year 2008 and includes a searchable database listing tax incentives that Development has approved since January 1, 2008.

Searching the Database

The database allows users to browse by a number of descriptors, including recipient name, approval date, county and zip code. Information in the database is taken periodically from data stored in the Department’s records.
