On Wednesday, August 26, Governor Ted Strickland honored 27 Ohio companies with the 2009 Governor's Excellence in Exporting Awards at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Columbus. Two companies received the distinguished Exporter of the Year awards: The Gorman-Rupp Company of Mansfield as the Large Business Exporter of the Year, and Ludlow Composites Corporation of Fremont as the Small-Medium Business Exporter of the Year.
