Women’s Business Resource Program: Yes You Can! 

Women are undoubtedly the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs in the nation and very important to Ohio's economy.  In support of this growth, the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Division (ESBD) offers an informational page to help women start a business, grow their business, and find women businesses. 

Women’s Business Resource Program Mission:
Our Mission is to provide a platform of initiatives and programs for women entrepreneurs that support all stages of development - from set up to success.

Directory of Ohio Women-Owned Businesses
The Entrepreneurship and Small Business Division has created the Directory of Ohio Women-Owned Businesses.  This online tool will help identify and locate women-owned firms throughout the State of Ohio.  Once you are registered in the Directory of Ohio Women-Owned Businesses, you will also be automatically added to the Small Business Directory.

Women’s Business Organizations
This online tool will help identify and locate women business organizations throughout the State of Ohio.  Also, this provides additional resources and networking opportunities for women business owners.

Small Business Development Centers (SBDC)
Within the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Division, the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) is considered the gateway for small business owners and entrepreneurs to access supportive services.  The SBDCs are staffed with highly trained business advisors who offer FREE counseling and training to help with highly specific business needs.  The 39 centers across Ohio are in your local communities to guide you to the right resources and services to help your business grow and succeed.

1st Stop Business Connection
The 1st Stop Business Connection provides a FREE, comprehensive business start-up kit to guide you through registering your business in Ohio.  1st Stop is a service of the Ohio Department of Development's Small Business Development Center program and the U. S. Small Business Administration
