Entrepreneurship and Small Business

The Small Business Register is a weekly online publication that informs the public of proposed changes in state agency rules and regulations that could affect the way Ohio's small business owners operate.
Ohio's regulatory process should be built on the foundations of transparency, accountability, and performance. Agencies should develop regulations in the full light of public scrutiny, and the public should have an opportunity to shape those regulations and to challenge any that are unfair, overly burdensome, and ineffective. The Small Business Register lists the state agency proposing the rule, the rule number, and the rule name.
Rules or regulations in the Small Business Register fall into four categories:
N = New
A = Amended
R = Rescission
NC = No Change
