Entrepreneurship and Small Business
The Ohio “Keys to Success” Awards
The Ohio Department of Development’s Entrepreneurship and Small Business Division, Ohio Small Business Development Centers, U.S. Small Business Administration, Central Ohio Women’s Business Center, Key4Women/KeyBank, Kroger, and the Department’s Minority Contractors Business Assistance Program are the sponsors for the Keys to Success Awards. The sponsors have selected the winners based on information received through submitted nomination packages. Award recipients were selected in eight categories: Manufacturing/Technology; Service; Real Estate/Construction; Healthcare/Medical; Marketing/Advertising/Public Relations; Wholesale/Retail; Social Entrepreneur; and Rising Star (having been in business for less than five years).
Recipients had to be female majority owners of companies with annual revenues in excess of $250,000, except in the Service category (minimum $200,000 in annual revenue) and the Rising Star category (minimum $150,000 in annual revenue). Social entrepreneurs were not required to provide annual revenue.
